International schools in Chiang Mai Thailand
There are more than six international schools in Chiang Mai to support the large expat community living in this growing Northern Thailand city. They offer a variety of programs, including British, American, German and the International Baccalaureate (IB). Some also have boarding facilities attracting students from all over Asia and beyond.
These schools are; Chiang Mai International School, Lanna International School, Christliche Deutsche Schule, Grace International School, PTIS International School, Nakorn Payap International School and American Pacific International School. The offer a variety of standards and facilities at varying prices. Two of them have boarding facilities.

Tuition is offered for early years (3 year olds) through to Grade 12 to a multi-cultural group of some 470 students. The PTIS Center emphasizes character development among its students, which includes a creativity, action and service program, Theory of Knowledge course, and global citizen responsibilities within local communities. The program is taught by an internationally recruited a staff of more than 60, all of whom are properly qualified (minimum of BA Ed or B.Ed) and experienced in their subject.
